The Business Process Modelling using BPMN and Sparx Systems Enterprise Architect online self-study training course is designed for Business Analysts. 

Participants should have a good working knowledge of Enterprise Architect and wish to upgrade their knowledge in how to use the Business Process Modelling Notation (BPMN) to model business processes and how to capture these models efficiently within the tool.

Course Details

Duration: Eight hours minimum is recommended to complete this content, but as pace is set by the participant it will differ from person to person.

Prerequisites: Participants should have some prior knowledge of the tool. Participants will need access to an instance of Enterprise Architect to work through the practical exercises within this content.

The Case Study

  • This topic is designed to give practical experience of modelling a defined business process using BPMN 2.0
  • How to setup your repository for BPMN modelling

Re-using BPMN 2.0 Elements in EA

  • This session looks at the process of creating model libraries to allow the re-use of elements across your BPMN 2.0 diagrams

Business Modelling

  • The elements and connectors used for Business Modelling
